Where it all began

Who are we?

The Stepladder Foundation began in 2000 and is a registered charity based in London. We aim to empower young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

We provide dedicated training, skills, and support throughout school and beyond

We support young people to stand as models of excellence in their communities and future networks

We create opportunities for young people by partnering with incredible firms and businesses

How we change young lives

Our work brings students closer together with their families, schools and other agencies to support the whole individual in a refreshing and positive way.

Stepladder also brings together other parts of the community that, under normal circumstances, would not meet. Like blue chip businesses and inspirational business owners.

The path to success starts here

Our charity is all about talent, fairness, equality and diversity. We make every penny we raise work as hard as possible to support as many young people as we can.

Our people

Our staff is mostly made up of Stepladder alumni, so they know exactly how to help students to succeed in careers and to provide the perfect mix of compassion and motivation.
